At Glad Tidings Free Pentecostal Church, leadership is not about position or title, but about service, humility, and faithfulness to Christ.
Our leaders are committed first and foremost to the unadulterated Word of God, declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity, conviction, and love.
We believe that true spiritual leadership flows from the example of Jesus Himself who came not to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45).
For this reason, our leaders seek to live as shepherds who guide with integrity, compassion, and a heart that reflects the love of Christ.
Our calling is to:
• Preach the Gospel faithfully, presenting God’s truth without compromise, with a passion to see lives transformed by the power of His Word.
• Love unconditionally, just as Christ commanded us to love one another (John 13:34), we aim to extend grace, kindness, and patience to all, regardless of background or circumstance.
• Forgive freely, following the example of our Lord, who has forgiven us much, we are committed to fostering a spirit of reconciliation and peace.
• Live as examples, not only in words, but in everyday actions, modeling humility, holiness, and service to God and to others.
We see leadership as a sacred trust. It is our responsibility to encourage, equip, and build up the body of Christ so that every believer may grow into maturity and fulfill their God given purpose.
Above all, our heart is to be a reflection of Jesus to every person we encounter inside and outside the church shining the light of His love, offering hope through His gospel, and pointing all people to the transforming power of His Spirit.
